Adam Pointer is an English born, New Zealand raised, award-winning Graphic Artist.
Adam had his first artwork published at 13 and started creative life interning at legendary magazine The Face whilst still at college. Upon gaining a design degree He moved permanently to London winning a D&Ad Best New Blood award and in a whirlwind 5 years produced graphics for MTVs Gonzo show with Zane Lowe and Alexa Chung. Worked on projects for Fila, Diesel, Liberty and Illustrated commercial campaigns for Nokia, Samsung and the Times. Adam was also part of the team that produced the multi award winning Honda ‘Grrr’ TV advert.
After migrating north to Newcastle, Adam spent time exploring different creative avenues. He had a solo exhibition at the National Glass Centre, produced gig artwork for DJ Shadow and experimented making art under various pseudonyms and different techniques.
In 2017, with renewed vigour for drawing Adam decided to shift his focus back towards his core passion of Graphic art and Illustration.
Producing artwork for distinctive brands, publications and individuals including: Goodhood, Capology, Shortlist, Cat Footwear, Nikon and Balance magazine. Alongside his own creative projects: Founders & Workers and Hypebeasts.
