I make bold, colourful brain and skull sculptures from hand painted, laser cut wood. Beneath the playful, graphic appearance, my work explores the chaos, complexity and contradictions of the human mind.

I’m interested in how we process information in a world of 24/7 content, constant stimulation and endless scrolling and what all this noise is doing to the way we think, feel and see the world.

These ideas spill beyond my wooden sculptures into screen prints, stickers, skate decks, badges and everyday objects. Influenced by skateboard graphics, pop art, street art and the subcultures I grew up around.

My work combines punchy visuals with a slow, hands-on making process. From sanding and sealing to building up layers of primer, much of the work goes unseen, but is integral to the finished piece.

I want to make work that catches your eye, draws you in for a closer look and gives your brain something to think about.
