Adam Pointer is an Artist and designer based in Newcastle, UK. Recognised for his brain motif and layered painted wooden skull artworks.

His work explores the human state of mind under attack in an age of distraction; distilling complex ideas into bold graphic forms.

Background

Adam began his creative journey as a design intern at The Face magazine while at college.

He went on to spend over a decade as a freelance commercial artist, working with brands including: Diesel, Fila, Liberty London, MTV, GQ, Goodhood, and Wallpaper*.

He later shifted focus to his personal practice, leading to his debut solo show Mind Full Mess (2020). His work has since been exhibited in Guilty by Association at the Baltic Art Gallery.
